Rental Requirements
- Age: Drivers must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid driver’s license for at least 1 year.
- License: EU, UK, Israel, Russia, Ukraine, US, Switzerland, and Australia licenses are accepted. Others require an International Driver’s License.
Fees and Charges
- Rates: All prices include unlimited mileage and 24% VAT.
- Additional Driver: One additional driver can be registered for €3/day.
- GPS: GPS navigation is available for €5/day (book in advance).
- Cancellation: Free cancellation, but notification is appreciated.
Vehicle Information and Use
- Selection: We offer various car groups with similar features. Request a specific model, and we’ll provide it if available. Otherwise, you’ll receive a similar or higher class car.
- Replacement: In case of breakdown or accident, we’ll replace your vehicle within 24 hours (subject to investigation).
- Child Safety: Child seats and booster seats are available, although not mandatory by law. Ensure the seat belt fits your child’s height.
- Fuel Policy: Return the vehicle with the same fuel level as received. Vehicles come with enough fuel to explore Crete.
- Key Loss: You are responsible for the cost of lost or damaged keys.
- Tire Damage: Repairs for flat tires are covered by insurance. You are responsible for unrepairable or burst tires.
Delivery and Collection
- We deliver and collect cars anywhere in Crete, including airports, ports, and hotels. Specify your preferred location during booking.
Restrictions
- Ferries and Cross-Border Rentals: Ferrying the vehicle or driving it outside Crete is prohibited. All insurance will be void.
Modifications and Extensions
- Booking Changes: Modify your reservation through the “Modify Reservation” section on our website.
- Rental Extensions: Contact us directly at +306 937 233 678 to extend your rental (subject to availability).
Accidents
- In case of an accident, contact us immediately at +306 937 233 678 (24/7). Do not leave the scene without reporting the incident.
- If possible, take photos of the other vehicle and its license plate.
- Our company will contact the insurance company to file an accident report.
Vehicle Use
- Use the vehicle responsibly to maintain insurance validity.
- Driving is restricted to asphalt roads only. Off-roading is strictly prohibited.
- Obey all traffic rules, including speed limits, parking regulations, and no U-turns.
- Do not drive under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- Only authorized drivers can operate the vehicle.
- Wilful or reckless damage to the vehicle (e.g., sitting on the roof, burning the clutch) is your responsibility.
